Thank-You Mother

 Mana san, I want to thank you  so much for  the life you have given us,  you have endured so much for us.  The  sudden death  of your healthy seven year old son Michitsugu in 1936,  forcibly removed from your 11 acres of  land in Port Hammond in 1942,   sudden, accidental death of your husband, Toshio  in Bay Farm 1943, leaving you a widow at 40 yrs with seven daughters.

Ganbata neh okaasan ,  kuro  shi mashita iro, iro  osewarini shi mashita  domo, arigato gozaimashita 

You know for  our lifetime, you will be  eternally “ DEAR”  in our hearts .

Akemi, yoko, michitsugu,  shunko, kazuyo, haruye, yoriko and aiko
